1. Who we are

ShulePoint is a service of ShulePoint Technologies, Tanzania. In these terms "we" means ShulePoint Technologies and "you" means the school, teacher or individual user of the system.

2. Accounts

• Give accurate details when you register and keep them up to date.
• You are responsible for protecting your password and for everything done through your account.
• A school account must be opened by someone with authority over that school. The school adds and removes its own teachers.
• Tell us at once if you suspect your account was used without permission.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

• distribute, sell or republish content from the system without our written permission;
• share one paid account among several people;
• try to reach the data of another school or user;
• disrupt the system, or use it to send fraudulent or unwanted messages.

4. School data

The school remains the owner of the data it enters, including data about students, parents, marks and fees. The school is responsible for the accuracy of that data and for having the authority to enter it. How we handle it is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Payments

• Plan and content prices are shown before you pay, in Tanzanian Shillings.
• Payment is made by mobile money through a payment provider. We never see or store your PIN.
• A plan starts once payment is confirmed and ends when its period ends. It does not renew by itself.
• A trial period, where offered, is for trying the system and may change.
• Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.

6. Content and copyright

The system, its design and the content we prepared belong to ShulePoint Technologies or to the respective rights holders. You may use them for your own learning and teaching, or within your school, only. If you see content that infringes your copyright, write to us and we will deal with it.

7. Availability

We work to keep the system available at all times but do not promise it will never be interrupted. Maintenance, network problems or problems at third-party providers can cause temporary outages.

8. Accuracy of results

The system calculates results from the marks and settings entered by the school. The school is responsible for checking marks, grades and reports before issuing them to parents or authorities.

9. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim arising from this service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses.

10. Ending an account

You may stop using the system at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you where that is possible.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. Continuing to use the system after a change means you accept it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
